Crop for a Cure
Thanks to everyone who came out to join in the Crop for a Cure to benefit Juvenile Diabetes. It was a huge success in my opinion, thanks to all of the fantastic sponsors. We had a great turnout and were able to raise over $600 to donate directly to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Thank you again to everyone as this means a lot to both myself and my son as we both have T1D (Type 1 Diabetes). I do believe I will continue to do this annually. I hope that everyone is well and getting ready for Trick or Treating!! Happy Halloween.

Crop for a Cure
Wow, it has been a mighty long time since I have posted. :-(
I just wanted to post that I am hosting a "Crop for a Cure" 16-hour scrapbook event benefiting Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at New Hope Church in Patterson, CA on October 1, 2011 from 9am to 1am. There will be numerous raffle prizes, a goodie bag for each attendee and baskets for a silent auction. We will also be having free make and takes. Cost is only $30 which includes all meals; continental breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.
If you are interesting in attending, please leave a comment on this post and I will get back to you quickly. If you would be interested in making a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation on my behalf, please click on the link in this post. Thank you and have a spectacular day!!

Baby Shower Invites
My sister is having a little girl, Haylee Lynn, so I decided to create things for her baby shower that my mom and I were throwing for her. These are the invitations. I love pink and brown, I do have to admit.
Tricycle Diaper Cake
I saw this great idea online and decided to take a stab at it for my sister's baby shower. I love the way it turned out and it was much easier than I anticipated it to be. Hope you enjoy too.

Finally, a Centerpiece
I've been working on a Baby Shower Centerpiece for some time now and have finally gotten it all assembled. Very happy with the results and hope you enjoy it too.
Dirt Bike Birthday Invitation
A very close friend of mine requested that I make some birthday party invitations for her son who races dirt bikes. I decided to use his number and the completion flag along with some balloons and then dirty up the card. My darling daughter, Jazmine and good friend, Mia, helped to create these and get them done within moments. Thanks for all your help Mia and Jazmine. I love you guys.

Lots of Fun
This past Sunday, our kids won a special treat from us, Chuck E. Cheese. Jazmine got her name up to Excellent 6 times and Joshua got proficient on his CST tests last year and a special assembly where he was presented with a medal and a certificate with his photo on it. They were so excited to go and had a great time. So though I'd post a couple of pictures that we did while there. Enjoy!!
