Favors

I was asked to create some baby shower favors by a girl at my work, whom I absolutely love to death.  These were my take on the grunge board flowers, except they are made from the Paisley cartridge and only patterned paper was used.  Hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them, with some help from a great friend of mine, Mia.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh My Gracious!!!  Friday, June 18th was my birthday and we had a little celebration at my house with a good friend of mine, Mia.  I was informed that we would be going to my sister's on Saturday for a BBQ but that I needed to be up and ready by 8:30am with jeans, sweatshirt, tennis shoes and the ability to stretch by then too.  WTH?  I was totally confused.  My husband blind folded me while my children were laughing in the backround as my husband was telling them to be quiet and not give me any hints as to where we were, what we were doing or what was around.  I love surprises but not advance knowledge that I will be surprised and really have no clue.  Uggghhh.  So off we went.  My sister is calling and all he says is that he wants them there first?  What the heck, wherever am I going?  We have finally arrived, I want to take the blindfold off but it is not allowed, I hear my sister, other sister, Jen, Gary and my mom.  Jen and Robyn lead me somewhere and as everyone is around say, "Ok, take the blind fold off."  HOLY SMOKES!!!  I am going to skydive, one thing I have always wanted to do.  Are you kidding me?  Jen is gonna jump with me too.  OMG, my adrenaline was racing at this point.  I am so excited. 

So thought I would share a few pictures as this is the most exciting, tremendously fabulous thing I've ever done in my life and if given the opportunity again, would sign up right away.  Words can't describe jumping out of an airplane and free falling 6000 feet.  IT IS FABULOUS!!!!!!  Enjoy my pictures.

GREAT NEWS!!!

A friend of mine's father has been battling cancer for a while now and he was just informed that he is now cancer free!!  What fantastic news!!!  So, I decided to make her a card to give to him.  Life is Good, that is for sure.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for..........

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.......  My grandmother has been under the weather for some time now and has just found out that she is able to eat ice cream once again.  I am sure she can't wait so thought I would send this card to her for Mother's Day.  Was a good excuse to try out my new Sweet Treats cartridge, that's for sure.  

Flowers

I've learned how to make the flowers that are such a buzz these days but didn't want to try my hand at roses.  Therefore, tried my hand at the daisy type and was tremendously impressed.  Thought I'd share my creation with you.  Please remember, I love messages so be sure to leave me some.  

Mother's Day

I've been having so much fun with the girls at work!!!  I think they are my biggest fans!!!  I love creating cards and with people that inspire me to continue by purchasing my cards, I am enjoying it even more!!!!  Thought I'd share some of the Mother's Day cards I've made with you .  I used the WC cartridge, of course and then added layers of flowers.  Enjoy!!
